Episode 4: It’s a blessing and a curse

Previously on Survivor

Phillip was rising to power. He secured a post merge alliance with Taj, and swayed Peih Gee to his side by telling her about the idol. Over at the Pongwe Tribe, Yve found herself in a safe position when she aligned with Elyse then Marcus, and Marcus revealed to her his plans. (Marcus: “Keep them till we get the numbers and take them out one by one”). The Chwaka tribe lost immunity and Taj, Phillip and Crystal voted out Dreamz. 17 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Chwaka Tribe (returned from Tribal Council)

[Taj confession: “We just voted out Dreamz, and now we are down to three. It seems a bit far for the merge but I think a tribe swap may be coming up soon to even out the numbers. I think we work well together as a tribe, but the three of us aren’t as fit as some of them younger folks on the other tribes (laughs).]

(They sit by the fire and Phillip strokes logs to maintain the fire)

Phillip: We can’t afford to lose another immunity challenge. If we lose any more of us, all our future plans will be wasted.

Crystal: We just got to give it our all and just make sure we don’t finish last in the next challenge.

[Crystal confession (crying slightly): “it’s hard being on the tribe that loses. I was the second target a both tribal councils we went to so far. If we lose again, I know I’m going home next. I’m going to fight with every last breath I have”]

[Taj confession: “I know Crystal is our link to the people from Gabon, but we would probably vote her out next. I get on well with her, but Phillip is in control. And the more polarizing he may get to people outside our alliance, the better it is for me. They will vote for me at the end over him”

[Cut to opening credits]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pongwe Tribe

[Albert confession: “So I have been playing a bit to under the radar so far. I have a tight alliance with Elyse and we are on the same page with regards to strategy. (Shot of Elyse working)]. I think Elyse worked on Yve the other day, and I just need to speak with Yve to find out where her head is at”]

(Scene of Albert and Yve alone at camp)

Albert: Do you think Marcus and Susie are too tight in this tribe?

Yve: They are just as close as you and Elyse

Albert: Yeah, but they have connections with people on the other tribe and Susie spent time with Chwaka. I’m sure she made some sort of a side deal.

Yve: You would do that too wouldn’t you?

Albert: As would you. But right now, they have more power than the three of us.

Yve: I can’t deny that

Albert: Have they talked strategy with you yet?

Yve: Not really. We have been safe from the vote so far so there was no real need to

Albert: If they just going to try and pull you in at the last minute, doesn’t that say a lot about trust?

Yve: Yes I agree.

Albert: And Susie nearly cost us the challenge yesterday. She is weak in challenges and she has potential numbers. And Marcus is indispensable right now because he is strong in challenges. But in time, he would be too much of an individual immunity threat, and he is likable enough to win at the end.

Yve: Things like this did cross my mind you know

Albert: I’m just trying to do what’s best for the tribe

Yve: And you individually.

(Albert laughs)

Yve: You good, say what you have to

Albert: You can never have too few friends in this game. You know what happened to you last time.

(Yve laughs)

[Yve confession: “Albert is so transparent. You can see right through him. He tries to be best friends with everyone. I see him talking to Marcus (shot of them fishing and chatting) and he and Elyse are probably unbreakable. And even though you know he only cares about himself, he does make a lot of sense. (Shot of Susie cleaning the shelter”]

[Albert confession: “Yve is a much stronger player than people give her credit for. She has this way of calling you out in the most casual, tongue in cheek manner. And she is crucial in my plans to break up the Gabon alliance; because she is the swing vote should we go to tribal council anytime soon.”]

(shot of Yve)

[Albert confession: “But I feel safe. I found this yesterday. (takes out a clue and reads it). I guess there is a hidden immunity idol at the brought back Exile Island. I’m not telling anyone. (laughs)]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Uroa Tribe

(Shots of Tribe having fun)

(Scene with the four of them sitting together and playing an island made board game)

[Darrah (narrative): “We made a board game like chess today with all the pages from tree mail, the tribe flag paints and pebbles and shells that we picked up along the way. This is really helping us bond as a tribe”]

[Stephan narrative: “In a lot of ways, chess is like Survivor. Every move you make is watched by others.  Our Tribe is a lot like chess pieces. Brandon is the Bishop- he represents church and religion (shot of Brandon praying). Mike is the Rook (shot of Mike fixing the shelter) – he keeps us safe in challenges, and he will be protecting us after the merge because others will be gunning for him, and the rest of us will be safe. Darrah may be the only female left on this tribe, but she is no queen. She is our Pawn (shot of Darrah sitting around camp) and she will listen to whatever the rest of us tell her. Me- I’d like to thing of myself as the person moving the chess pieces. But I don’t have all the control yet. I’m a Knight. I stand by the rest of my tribe when we go into  battle and I am capable of making big moves and taking out the other players if they don’t look carefully (shot of Stephan moving a stone marked ‘knight’ and taking out a Rook). I may not have a lot of power in this tribe, but if the tribes were ever to get swopped, I can maneuver my way into a tight alliance)

(Continued shots of the tribe playing chess)

Mike: “I’m really happy with being with you guys on this tribe. We work well together in challenges, we all get on here, and if we stick together, we can go far together”

Brandon: “Amen Brother”

[Mike confession: “I’m not delusional into thinking that it would be all smooth sailing throughout this game. There will be some rough storms. But hopefully, if I can maintain harmony in this tribe, everyone will be less inclined to jump ship and they can pull in people from the other tribes to join us”]

(Closing shot of Darrah moving her pawn to the end and getting crowned and saying “check mate”)

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Michamvi Tribe

(Cao Boi approaches Brenda who is sunbathing on the beach with Kenny chatting her up)

Cao Boi: Brenda: Don’t you do anything here but lie on the beach and look pretty?

Brenda: I’m just taking a break and saving my energy so that I don’t burn out at the challenge

Cao Boi: You should be gathering food with Peih Gee

(Shot of Peih Gee collecting coconuts in the distance with Frosti)

Brenda: She seems to be doing just fine

Cao Boi: This is not a holiday. You came here to work

Brenda: I came here to play the game. You have to take some time of to relax

Cao Boi: And you Kenny shouldn’t be sitting here with this girl. Asian men work hard. You should be getting fire wood and tending to the fire.

Kenny: If I do something, you always tell me that I’m doing it wrong, so instead of wasting time by making mistakes, you can just do it

(Brenda laughs)

Cao Boi: I don’t see a joke. There is work to be done. Food needs chopping, clothes need washing.

Brenda: Excuse me. Do I look like I work in a laundry back home?

Cao Boi: All Asian women know how to wash clothes.

Kenny: Enough with those Asian stereotype types

[Cao Boi confession: “Kenny and Brenda have lost touch with their culture. Asian women are supposed to be cordial and hardworking. She just sits by all day and does nothing. She doesn’t even get up to get food or water. Kenny gets all that for her, or Frosti. She has all these Asian Boys under her spell. It is all these Western ways that made Asian boys vulnerable to the Seductress.

(Scene changes to Frosti and Peih Gee talking)

Frosti: Camp wasn’t the same without you

Peih Gee: Thanks. I missed you guys

Frosti: What did you learn about the tribe?

[Peih Gee confession: “Frosti is my closest ally here, but I’m playing all my cards close to my chest. I’ll fill him in on a need to know basis. I’m not stupid enough to tell him what I learnt about Exile Island]

Peih Gee: I don’t think anyone is really in control though and they may not be so tight. They were just banded together to get rid of the other two

Frosti: who do you think would be willing to work with us?

Peih Gee: All of them I gathered

Frosti: Who would be the best move for us?

Peih Gee: I think we should pick up Phillip

(Frosti blurts out laughing)

Frosti: Have you seen him play before?

Peih Gee: Yes, and if you’re on his side, you won’t be on the receiving end of is outbreaks. And he is not a power player- he is a goat.

[Peih Gee confession: “I can completely understand Frosti’s perception of Phillip. I thought he was crazy too. But after getting to know him, I was surprised to see how much intuition he has on the game and everyone around him. He is a power player, and I need them on my side if I want to go far”]

Frosti: So how will all this affect how we vote?

Peih Gee: I’m thinking we take out either Brenda or Kenny next. Kenny is no more stronger than Cao Boi, but Cao Boi works hard here. Kenny runs around Brenda like a love sick puppy and Brenda is dangerous. (Shots of Brenda flirting with Kenny). So one of them next definitely

[Peih Gee confession: “I’d rather take out Brenda next though. Frosti is also smitten with her, despite trying to hide it”]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Immunity and Reward Challenge

Jeff: Come on in guys. Today, immunity up for grabs. Each member will be perched on top of a narrow wooden pole and will be holding a bucket. One member will use a pulley and turn wheel to pull up a bucket of water. They will then throw the water to the next tribe member, who must catch it in their bucket. They will pass it to the third tribe member who must then throw the water into in a water barrel that is on the end of a teeter totter. When you have enough water in the teeter totter, the other end that is ignited with flames will raise. The first tribe whose rope is burnt first wins immunity. You’re also playing for reward. Wanna know what you playing for?

(Lots of yes’s from the crowd)

The winning tribe will be treated to a morning of breakfast tomorrow morning. They will wake up to a freshly prepared English Style breakfast, coffee, tea, pancakes, waffles, and all the lot ,with something to read. And a twist revealed after the challenge.

(Camera focuses to Brandon and Frosti who cheer the loudest).

(Stephan, Elyse, Susie, Cao Boi and Brenda sit out)

The Chwaka tribe work well together and are co ordinated. They are closely followed by by the Uroa tribe who are also co ordinated but aren’t accurate in passing water. Albert and Marcus don’t work well together and they miss a few buckets of water. Kenny loses his balance a few times and falls of the pole, which frustrates Frosti.

(Screen shot of Mike and Phillip throwing in water at the same time into their respective barrels. A flame burnts through the rope and ignites the fireworks)

Jeff: Chwaka wins immunity!

(They are followed by the Uroa Tribe and Pongwe tribe. The Michamvi tribe isn’t safe)

Jeff: Chwaka for the second time in this game, you have immunity. When you needed it most.

(Jeff gives the idol to Phillip, who makes a Gorilla noise. Taj kisses the idol. Crystal cries.)

Jeff: Crystal, you are more emotional than I have ever seen you playing

Crystal:  We came together as a tribe and won immunity. I’m proud of my tribe.

(they hug each other)

Phillip: The power of the lion and gorilla game together to protect my family (sound effect of lion)

Jeff: Time for the twist (reads from a parchment). ‘the winning tribe must send one person from the losing tribe to Exile Island. That person will leave their tribe now and be sent directly to Exile Island. They will return to their tribe just before in time to vote and they will be immune from the vote.’ That will be giving one person in the game a lot of power, while at the same time; it could cause a tribe to fall apart. Think very carefully

(Chwaka discuss quickly and send Peih Gee)

[Phillip confession: “I have full faith that Peih Gee will find the idol, and that will solidify the pact that we made to each other”]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Exile Island

Peih Gee: Exile Island is not as dreadful as it sounds. There’s a good shelter here, a ration of rice, flint and machete and a beautiful fresh water pond. This is kind of like paradise. Phillip sent me here for one reason though.

(She unrolls a parchment. ‘You are separated from camp and you have to make a decision tonight. But the situation is not bleak. Something is hidden on this island that will give you power. It’s not for the feint hearted or weak’.

(Peih Gee spends some time deciphering the clue and thinking. She looks around and finds a few follow up parchments that direct her to the clue. She eventually finds a small box in the forest. When she opens it, there is a small Tiki with a rotating combination lock around it. There is also a parchment attached.)

‘Congratulations, you have found the hidden immunity idol. Its power can only be used when you decipher its code. You will know where to find secret to the code engraved under a stone when you feel like your back is against wall, when you feel as though all hope is lost, and when you are coming to terms when you are about to go home.’

Peih Gee: Just great. I found the idol. But I can’t use it yet. I have no clue what this means.

(Scene ends)

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Michamvi Tribe

(Cao Boi and Frosti talk)

Cao Boi: who are you thinking about voting out?

Frosti: Yesterday, Peih Gee and I were thinking about voting for either Kenny or Brenda. But I’m leaning towards voting for Kenny

Cao Boi: I am too. But Brenda may be more dangerous. She has Kenny wrapped around her finger.

(Scene changes)

(Brenda and Kenny talk)

Kenny: I am on the chopping block. I can feel it.

Brenda: I’m not voting for you. If you are gone, I’m next.

(Frosti approaches)

Brenda: Frosti, would you vote with us against Cao Boi?

Frosti: I don’t know. Peih Gee has a pretty big vote and we don’t’ know how she will vote

Brenda: But if the three of us vote together, her vote won’t matter

Kenny: Frosti man, I know I messed up the challenge, but I can help the tribe more at puzzles.

Brenda: And Peih Gee may be good at puzzles too Frosti, but like you said, you don’t want to go too far with her because she would win. Vote Cao Boi with us and next we get Peih Gee.

Kenny: And you would be safe after the merge. Susie, Crystal and I would probably work together again

Frosti: I will try my best

[Frosti: “I really don’t know what to do with my vote. I don’t betray Cao Boi because he has been good to me. If it comes down to a tie between Cao Boi and Kenny then Peih Gee is the swing vote. She won’t vote against Cao Boi and I. So it could be between Peih Gee and Kenny. We agreed on that, but we didn’t choose who. I don’t want to get rid of Brenda yet, because she could be a strong ally, but she won’t vote for Kenny while she has him under his control. I need to do what will help me most in this tribe. I rather be with the guaranteed majority]

Frosti: “Okay, I will vote for Cao Boi.”

(He shakes hands with Kenny)

(Cao Boi sees Kenny, Frosti and Brenda talking)

[Cao Boi confession: “Brenda is trying to pull Frosti to his side. She is a seductress and he and Kenny are falling for it. In our Asian culture, we say that she is the Daughter of Fu Manchu- The Dragon Lady. We call her powers Espiritu- the skill of seduction, sabotage and backstabbing. She is so dangerous and these boys just don’t see it”.]

(Frosti leaves the group and Brenda and Kenny continue their discussion)

Kenny: So what do you think?

Brenda: I think I have another plan, and it could take the power away from Peih Gee and put us in control and orchestrate a blindside.

(Camera fades out, audio fades and the scene ends with them laughing)

(Scene where Frosti tells Cao Boi not to worry because he will be safe. He reassures Cao Boi that Peih Gee will not vote for him)

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Exile Island

Peih Gee: “ I think I will stick to the plan and vote for either Brenda or Kenny. If I vote the wrong person, then on the revote, I can switch my vote to one of them. I have some time left here on Exile, so I’m just going to trying and decipher the idol lock. Coming to Exile and getting this idol is two sided, It’s a blessing and a curse”

Jeff: Come on in guys. Grab your torches and get fire. You know the rest

(Frosti laughs)

Jeff: Kenny, what happened at the challenge today?

Kenny: I lost balance and that cost us the challenge

Jeff: So do you think you should be voted out?

Kenny: No. I think it was just unfortunate that I participated in this challenge. I could not sit out because of the last challenge. If Cao Boi participated, we still might have lost

Jeff: Cao Boi. Agree?

Cao Boi: Maybe Jeff. I’m not as fit as these people, but I work hard around camp

Jeff: Brenda has there been much discussion about why Peih Gee was Exiled?

Brenda: I think we all sort of realized that maybe they want to weaken her or keep her apart from Frosti because they played together. Or maybe they wanted to keep her safe because they made some sort of deal with her when she went there as a spy as few days ago

Jeff: Frosti where’s your head at with this?

Frosti: I think it could help us as a tribe if she made some alliances with them

Jeff: But Frosti, you individually weren’t there. How can you trust what she told you?

(Brenda interrupts)

Brenda: I think that’s true. We all need to have a back up plan in the case she jumps ship, and the best way would be for Frosti to vote with us so that we can stand strong and retaliate

Jeff: Cao Boi what’s your take on this?

Cao Boi: Brenda is doing everything she can to save herself tonight. She is using her powers as a seductress to get the numbers on her side

(Brenda laughs)

Jeff: Kenny and Frosti, are you falling for one of the oldest tricks in the book?

Kenny: No, I rather align with her anyway because she is a strong ally

Frosti: I guess that’s the way she plays

Jeff: Okay lets bring Peih Gee in

(Jeff gets Peih Gee who sits down)

Jeff: So Peih Gee, how was your time at Exile?

Peih Gee: It was not too harsh, but a waste of valuable time

Jeff: Alright, and with that, it’s time to vote. Brenda, you’re up

(Brenda casts a vote and says “I just don’t trust you”. Kenny casts a vote. Cao Boi votes for Brenda and says- “your magic doesn’t work on me. I see through your powers”. Frosti casts a vote and says “Sorry”. Peih Gee votes Kenny and says “you cost us this challenge. You or your girlfriend are going home tonight. Bye”. Jeff gets the urn and brings it back)

Jeff: First vote- Kenny (he nods her head)

Second vote- Cao Boi (he looks slightly paranoid)

Third vote- Brenda (Brenda smiles, Peih Gee looks nervous, and Kenny smiles)

Next vote- Frosti (Brenda and Kenny smile, Frosti buries his head in his hand)

Final Vote- the fourth person voted out of this game- Frosti. Bring me your torch

(Peih Gee looks shocked. Cao Boi shakes his head. Kenny and Brenda give each other high fives. Peih Gee and Frosti hug and he pats Cao Boi’s shoulder)

Jeff: Frosti, the tribe has spoken

Frosti: You got me. Later guys

[Frosti closing words: “I was duked. I didn’t think Brenda or Kenny would turn on me. I wish Peih Gee and Cao Boi good luck. I should have voted for them”]

Jeff: And with that, your first blindside. Have a good night

Next time on Survivor

A special newspaper with letters from home brings tears to the Chwaka tribe, but Phillip keeps his eyes on the game. And another twist could threaten everyone’s spots in the game. Jeff: “Everybody, drop your buffs”

Episode 3: He is a Human Lie Detector

Previously on Survivor

Phillip led the Chwaka tribe to victory and further strengthened his place in the game when he received information about a hidden immunity idol at Exile Island. Natalie found herself on the chopping block and scrambled to save her life while trying to create rifts in the Uroa tribe. But in the end, the remaining four stuck together to vote out Natalie, who was too much trouble. 18 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

(Caucasian Tribe arrives back at camp and Stephan and Mike talk about Natalie’s claims, while Darrah listens)

[Brandon confession: “Taking Natalie out was the best move for me because she knows how to stir up trouble. But she was right- I’m a new person, I’m playing a new game, and I’m here to win”]

 [Cut to opening credits]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pongwe Tribe

(Elyse and Yve are gathering fruit and talking about their lives’ back home)

[Yve narrative confession: “I got some time to get to know Elyse, and she is quite a great girl. She is hard working and is good at keeping the tribe moral up. And she knows so much about the outdoors. You wouldn’t know that just by looking at her]

Elyse: See this plant, it’s called the Gem. Be careful around it because its sap is poisonous. And these are ordinary pepper and clove spices. Collect these herbs because I can make a mixture with them to cover cuts and bruises.

Yve: How do you know so much?

Elyse: I did a lot of studying about my ancestors and how they survived in the wilderness.

[Elyse confession: “I feel so comfortable out here. Any thing I know about how my ancestors adapted to this environment I make use of, and I think I am a good asset to the tribe. They would want to keep me a lot longer”]

Yve: Your ancestors would be proud of you

[Yve confession: “Elyse is like a daughter to me out here and I think we trust each other and we will be looking out for each other]

(scene changes to Marcus and Yve talking)

Marcus: Susie wants to set up a Gabon core alliance, but we want a few extra people to align with.

Yve: So I take it that you want me to join it

Marcus: Yes, but I don’t want it to last long. Susie has a much stronger connection with Crystal and Kenny and I don’t want to be at the bottom of it

Yve: And you are planning on over throwing the alliance?

Marcus: Yes, after the merge. Keep them till we get enough numbers to take them out one by one.

[Yve confession: “I don’t really understand why Marcus is planning on turning on his alliances so early. I think he just wants to remain on the top of the totem pole. I just have to wait and see what’s best for me”]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Immunity and Reward Challenge

(Tribes enter to the immunity and reward challenge)

Tribes mates will be shackled to one another must make their way through a long obstacle course and collect 5 puzzle bags on the way. The obstacle course consists of balance beams, a net run, mud crawl, rope climb wooden and balance drums. At the end of the course the puzzle must be completed. The first tribe to finish the puzzle first and unshackle wins immunity and reward. The reward is a complete cooking utensil set with a chopping board, a kitchen knife, bowls and pans. In addition, the winning tribe must send one of their own people to the losing tribe where they will spend time at the camp and observe the tribal council.

Yve and Kenny sit out the challenge

The Uroa tribe takes the early lead, while Susie and Cao Boi slow down their respective tribes. The Chwaka tribe stumbles on the balance beams and the Michamvi tribe passes them. The Pongwe tribe also manages to catch up. The Uroa and Michamvi tribe are neck on neck on the puzzle, but Peih Gee and Cao Boi work well together and complete the puzzle first, winning immunity. Uroa and Pongwe tribes are the next two to finish the puzzle and are also safe from the vote.

Cao Boi elects Peih Gee to accompany the Chwaka tribe, which Brenda is not happy about, but keeps her opinion to herself.

[Brenda confession: “Peih Gee is too crafty. Sending her to the Chwaka Tribe will help her more than it will help us.”]

[Frosti confession: “Hopefully Peih Gee will be able to get enough information for us so that we know who we can pull over to our tribe when the time comes”]

[Peih Gee confession: “I’m glad that I get to go with the Chwaka Tribe. It puts me in a better spot because I will be able to forge must earlier connections with them that could help me after the merge.”]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Chwaka Tribe with Peih Gee

(Scene of Phillip and Taj talking)

Phillip: I just wanted to take you aside and talk to you so that the other three don’t here us

Taj: What do you want to talk about?

Phillip: At the last Tribal Council, although you voted with me, you were not sure if doing that was the right thing. You were indecisive, and I want know where your head is at now.

Taj: It was the first vote and I was considering all options

Phillip: And ever since our last reward, you are have this feeling that maybe I am the most dangerous player out year

(Taj is speechless)

Phillip: It’s a game, and I understand?

Taj: What else?

Phillip: Well, I will be honest here. I think you are the smartest player here. You were the decisive vote last time. Your head is always on the game. And you feel secure down the line because of your connection with Stephan, and maybe somebody from the Hispanic Tribe offered you and Crystal a sweeter deal down the road. You don’t have to say anything. And it has crossed my mind more than once

Taj: So what do you propose?

Phillip: We work together and get rid of Dreamz. We keep your alliance with Stephan and Susie and Crystal and I rope in Peih Gee. We stick together after the merge until after we pick off every person who is not in our alliance.

Taj: You know Phillip, that’s a good plan. I never knew how strategic this side of you was

Phillip: I know, and it scares you. But I promise you that if we make this pact you will have nothing to worry about. Do I have your word?

(they shake hands)

Phillip: Keep Dreamz and Crystal occupied while I work on Peih Gee

[Taj confession: “that was a really spooky conversation. And Phillip is freaking me out. I didn’t think that he could be such a threat in this game. I felt like he was reading my mind. He is a human lie detector, and I want those skills on my side. I don’t want to work against him. He could be a lot more helpful to than Dreamz could”]

[Phillip confession: “This is called scare tactics. Taj knows more about my game which is risky, but at the same thing, she would be thinking too much about what I said to get Crystal and Dreamz to vote me out”. ]

(Shots of Taj who is in deep thought from Phillips eyes)

[Phillip confession: “I know how to play this game. I can control this tribe like Russell, yet remain charismatic like Boston Rob. After this game, nobody will have doubts of my skills as a Specialist”]

(Dreamz and Crystal talking while Taj sits nearby)

Dreamz: Crystal, I know we had our differences, but I think we can do something. I want to stay in this game till the end

Crystal: Why? So you can rob another dude of a car?

Dreamz: I regret that. I want the chance to play a good game. Please give me that chance

Crystal: It’s not only up to me. And if not you, I’m probably next on the chopping block.

Dreamz: Taj, would you want to help keep me in the game

Taj: I’m sorry Dreamz. I can see that you are a changed man, but after this vote, we will be down to three, and I want to keep the people who could help this tribe most after the merge

(Scene changes to Phillip and Peih Gee by the woods)

Phillip: Looking at you, I can tell that you are in command of your tribe

Peih Gee: I don’t want to say to much. It may jeopardize my place in the game.

Phillip: You are very intelligent, and I admire that. What are your thoughts on a cross tribal alliance, where we could help each other?

Peih Gee: In what way can we help each other at this stage?

Phillip: I know about a twist in the game that can help us

Peih Gee: Okay, I will call your bluff. What twist and how do you know about it?

Phillip: There was a small clue at our last reward that I had the privilege of seeing alone

Peih Gee: Keep talking

Phillip:   Exile Island will be coming into play soon, and a hidden immunity idol is somewhere there

Peih Gee: And what do you plan on gaining by sharing this with me?

Phillip: Get our tribes to send one of us to Exile Island. That way we could keep the idol a secret between ourselves, and we will have its full power. We can’t give anyone else the chance to find the idol, because then we could be in for a blindside.

(Closing shot of Peih Gee thinking)

[Peih Gee confession: “Instead of finding out rifts in this tribe and find areas that our tribe can exploit, I got much more than I bargained for. Down the road, I don’t think I want to work with Phillip. But I am going to take full advantage of what I learnt. He is a completely different player from what we saw last time”]

(Another scene where Dreamz tries to plead with Phillip and Taj to keep him over Crystal. Phillip seems to show some sort of compassion, but he doesn’t give Dreamz and answer)

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Tribal Council

Dreamz has a small melt down whines about how he changed yet no one wants to help him stay in the game. Phillip pats his back and Taj gives him a cloth to wipe his eyes. Taj says that she can see how much he changed and this vote is hard, but they need to put themselves in a better position where they can form relationships with people from other tribes. The camera shifts to Peih Gee who looks focused. Phillip says that Crystal can help them more with people from Gabon. Crystal remains quiet throughout the discussion.

Dreamz votes for Crystal and the other three votes him out of the game. Phillip shakes Dreamz hand before his torch is snuffed.

Jeff: “So you made a decision to keep someone who has connections with other tribes over some one that performed a little better in challenges. Time will tell if this will help you. Take your torches and head back to camp”

Dreamz closing words: “I proved that I am a changed man, but there was nothing I could do stay along more. I am grateful for this chance to play again.

Episode 2: “The most deadly poison is the one that looks the sweetest”

Previously on Survivor

20 castaways returned for a second chance and the tribes were divided by race. Most tribes worked well together and built their camp. But all waters were not calm. Natalie was uneasy about Brandon’s position in the tribe (Natalie Confession: “He is a threat to my game”), and on the African American Tribe, tension between Dreamz, Naonka, Phillip and Crystal put Taj in the middle. At the immunity challenge, Phillip picked up the lead for his tribe, but at the end, they could not overcome Crystal and Naonka’s poor performance. Susie led the Pongwe tribe to victory, and was sent as a spy to the Chwaka Tribe where she witnessed the dysfunction first hand. Taj found herself in the middle of two alliances, but at the end, she stuck with Phillip and Crystal who worked harder and voted out Naonka. 19 are left, who will be voted out next?

_________________________________________________________________________________________

African American Tribe

Dreamz wakes up and the shock that his closest ally is gone is hitting him. There is a tense argument between him and Crystal, with Phillip and Taj are in the middle.

[Phillip Confession: “I’m not surprised by how the vote went down last night, but as much as I wish, it was not my final decision.

I’m sure Taj made the deciding vote. She is a very smart woman and she can easily gain full control of this game. My best move may be to keep Dreamz and send her out next. I’m playing to win this time. I’m not settling for second place”.]

Hispanic Tribe

(Susie returned to her tribe the previous tribe and now she is going to tree mail with Marcus)

Marcus: So Naonka went home?

Susie: Yes, Taj, Phillip and Crystal formed an alliance, but it may not be so strong. That tribe is dysfunctional.

Marcus: Did you speak to Crystal?

Susie: She is in with us, and we just got to work on Kenny. If we can get Crystal and Taj, Kenny and someone from our tribe, we can form a tight cross tribal alliance that we can use after the merge. I’m thinking we rope in Yve.

Marcus: Yeah, I think Yve is a safe bet

[Marcus Confession: Susie thinks that I am going along with a Gabon alliance? Are you kidding me? After the three of them betrayed me last time, I would never align with them- long term .I’ll go along with Susie’s plan for now and keep making the deal look as sweet as possible. Then when she least expects it and thinks she is in full control, I’ll get my revenge”.]

(Shots of Susie mumbling to Marcus who looks like he is not paying attention)

[Marcus Confession: “She will never see it coming.”]

(Scene where Elyse and Albert are fishing)

(Elyse gets in a lot of fish in her rope)

Albert: How are you doing that?

Elyse: My ancestors bestowed some skills onto me (giggles)

[Elyse confession: “I come from a long line of Native Americans. My ancestors were very skilled at outdoor stuff and I guess it’s in our genes. I’m pageant queen, and think I can still survive in the outdoors and look pretty doing it (giggles)”]

Albert: Well I guess we don’t need an Ozzy on the tribe to catch fish

(scene fades through to Yve’s point of View looking at the two fishing and the two around tree mail.)

[Yve confession: “It looks like the people are aligning based on past seasons they played on. Marcus and Susie were on Gabon together, and Albert and Elyse were together on South Pacific. I’m just going to continue working hard around camp, and one of those pairs will come to me”]

Asian Tribe

(Scene of Cao Boi and Peih Gee talking)

Cao Boi : So what occupation do you have?

Peih Gee: I’m a jewelry designer

Cao Boi: How woman have changed. In my time young women like yourselves would work in the rice paddies all day. We never heard of women who make jewelry

[Peih Gee confession: “Cao Boi’s stories about his times are funny. He reminds me a lot of my late grandfather. (tears up a little).]

(Brenda asks Kenny to keep an eye on Peih Gee while she works Frosti)

Brenda: We never get to spend time alone

Frosti: There was always stuff do to at camp.

Brenda: I always want to be in an alliance with a strong guy like you, so what do you say?

Frosti: I see no problem with that. What about Kenny?

Brenda: He is temporary. What about you and Peih Gee?

Frosti: I have an alliance with her, but I don’t want to be stuck with it   forever. She will be tough to beat

Brenda: So let’s take out Cao Boi, then Kenny?

Frosti: Seems like a good idea. It’s all about keeping the tribe strong.

[Frosti confession: “I know Brenda tried to work her magic on me and I’m sure she did the same to Kenny. But down the line, Peih Gee will be harder to beat than her in challenges. Taking out Kenny would be the best way to strengthen my alliance with Brenda, and keep Peih Gee for the time being.

Caucasian Tribe

Natalie confesses: [“I got to play survivor with best player ever! And I voted for her to win. I’m will use every trick in the book I learned from her”].

(Natalie observes Mike and Brandon going to fish, and approaches Stephan and Darrah who are tending to the fire)

Natalie: Stephan, I was quite bummed that you didn’t win Tocantins, you were a strategic mastermind, and JT just piggybacked of your strategy.

Stephan: Thanks Nat, it means a lot

Natalie: An alliance of two friends can be quite strong. (makes an act of looking coincidentally towards the beach)

Stephan: We need Mike for his strength in challenges and Brandon does well too.

Natalie: But Brandon can be so reckless at times. What if he likes the other the tribe after the merge and doesn’t vote with them or us and we loose numbers and get picked off?

Stephan: I think we can have him in control. He grew up a lot. And his record of being loyal is clean

[Darrah confession: “Natalie is a great thinker. She came up to Stephan really subtly and was casting doubts on Brandon. She is scrambling and it’s only going to make her look bad”]

Darrah: I think we need to make decisions as a group so that our loyalty can be strengthened

Immunity and Reward Challenge

[Physical and muddy challenge where two people from each tribe square off in an area suspended In a mud pit with the aim of snatching one of two balls from the opposing teams. Tribes may team up against other tribes. When a person has possession of the ball, they must throw it to the other two members, who are standing on a raised platform. There job is to throw the ball into the scoring basket, that is situated at the top center of the arena. Brawlers may push other players off the arena into the mud, and in doing so, players who fall into the mud are removed from the round. After a point is scored, the scorers will switch places with the brawlers. First tribe to score four points wins immunity and the reward. The reward is a spa trip out of camp with light snacks.

There must be two men and two women from each tribe. Tribes must sit out players to confirm with this. The tribe with the lowest number of points will go to tribal council that night. If the challenge ends in a tie for last place, the teams compete in a sudden death round, where the next set of brawlers attempts to push themselves in the mud. The first team to lose both their brawlers loses then challenge.]

Cao Boi, Stephan and Susie sit out the challenge.

Crystal and Taj quickly dominate the brawl and knock of many of the competition. They manage to pass all three balls to Phillip and Dreamz. Phillip shoots all three in and scores three points in the first round. In the second round Dreamz and Phillip are pushed over quickly, Brandon and Mike pass one ball each to the girls (who miss). Albert and Marcus pass up two balls and Elyse and Yve score both points. Kenny is pushed in the mud by Mike, and Frosti manages to pass the last ball to Peih Gee, who scores a point. In the next round, Taj and Crystal once again dominate and pass two balls up to Phillip who scores both and wins immunity and reward. Since The Caucasian team did not score any points, they are sent back to camp without immunity.

(Point to note- Jeff points out that Taj, Crystal and Phillip dominated the challenge. He also says that despite Peih Gee, Frosti and Darrah being small built, they are fighting to the end in each round)

[Mike confesses: “Natalie let one ball slip and insisted she throw the second ball over Darrah. She scored nothing for us. Darrah at least held up till the end without falling in the mud brawl]

At the reward challenge

The Chwaka tribe is taken to a small resort with a spa facility and a table of light meals like sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, Pringles with “did you know scriptures”, and soft drinks.

[Taj Narrative confession: “The trip to a spa is exactly what our tribe needed. And for me personally, it reminded me a lot of my life at home”]

[Crystal Narrative confession: “I don’t want to leave here. There are two separate facilities for the men and women. Bathrooms, showers, toilets, steam room and massages. And time apart from Dreamz is a reward in itself”]

The tribe later on sits for lunch and take turns reading and eating each Pringle Chip.

A particular “did you know chip causes Phillip to put Phillip on game mode immediately.

[Phillip side confession: “I was reading one of the chips and it caught my attention immediately”]

(Shift back to Phillip reading the chip with everyone talking amongst themselves)

(the chip reads: “Did You Know that an Immunity Idol is hidden on Exile Island that will soon come into play? You may keep this information for yourself or share it with your tribe”)

[Phillip side confession: “this chip will give me power. I either need to make a trip to Exile Island, or get somebody I trust to go there”]

(shot of Phillip eating the chip)

[Phillip side confession: “I guess I learnt a few tricks from Boston Rob. But with my skills as an undercover specialist, I will be the Ultimate Survivor. (sounds of lions roaring)]

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Caucasian Tribe

[Natalie confession: “Stephan seemed complacent with sticking with Mike and Brandon, and Darrah wants to go with the majority. Where does that leave me?”]

(scene of Darrah, Mike and Stephan)

Stephan: She came up to Darrah and I really aggressively the other morning and was throwing Brandon under the bus.

Mike: What points did she bring up? Anything we don’t know?

Stephan: She just repeated how irrational he was in South Pacific.

Mike: He has grew up a lot since then

(long pause)

Mike: I think he may be more dangerous than Natalie, if he is playing to win this time

(Natalie approaches)

Natalie:  if it is between me and Brandon, I want to stay in this game. I know I messed up in the challenge, but I will try harder next time.

(scene ends)

[Natalie confesses: “It’s time for my claws to come out”]

(Natalie approaches Brandon by the beach)

Natalie: Brandon, you are in hot water my friend

Brandon: The water is quite cool here (with sarcastic tone and a chuckle)

Natalie: I thought it would come down to the two of us and they would vote me off. But I just spoke to them and I think we can change the game around. They are considering voting you out because you grew up from last time and now you are dangerous to them. It was all Mike’s idea.

Brandon: But Mike is my friend. He wouldn’t betray me.

Natalie: So were Albert and Coach. You need to step up and show these players that they can’t control you. You are playing for your own redemption now.

Brandon: You are right. I have to do what is best for me this time.

Natalie: I am a free vote. If you want to work against them, I will help you. I can rope in Darrah, and we can blindside Stephan tonight. Stephan has been whispering in Mike’s ear and has turned Mike against you.  You can do something and show these power players that you are a force to be reckoned with.

[Brandon Confession: “I’m so conflicted right now, but I know my Father will guide me. I’m doing what’s best for me and I will vote for whom I think is lying to me. I am a good judge of character and I smell poison. The most deadly poison is the one that looks the sweetest”]

(Scene ends with Natalie smiling)

(Natalie approaches Mike)

Natalie: I think that Brandon would be a safer choice to keep

Mike: and who would be less safe than Brandon?

Natalie: Stephan. I think he will flip as soon as possible and join Taj. Brandon will stay loyal to, and so will I. I have no possible cross tribal alliances at all.

Mike: And he is weaker than Brandon at physical challenges

Natalie: We will have the numbers. Brandon will listen to you

[Natalie background music: “If I played my cards right, I’d be here tomorrow”]

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Jeff: Light your torches and sit down. In this game fire represents your life. When your fire is gone so will you. So lets get to know some tribe dynamics. Mike, so how is life at camp?

Mike: Things are pretty good. Everyone works hard. There are no conflicts in the tribe.

Jeff: Really? Brandon a tribe with no conflicts, how do you base your vote then tonight?

Brandon: I will be voting to better my position in the game. I don’t need a Coach anymore to play this game.

(Everyone laughs, which ends with Mike and Stephan giving each other worried looks)

Jeff: Natalie, how secure do you feel?

Natalie: I feel vulnerable because of my performance at the challenge. But what I hope the tribe could realize is that I can be skilled in other areas. Like balance and accuracy. Not all challenges would be based on physical strength.

Jeff: Stephan, how big of an issue is trust in this tribe?

Stephan: I think there is a fair degree of trust here- enough to keep this tribe together.

Jeff: for how long? What happens after the merge?

(Natalie jumps in)

Natalie: I think that trust should be the key issue here. Alliances can change like the weather after the merge and there could be tribe swaps at any chance. I think we need to think about who could possibly flip and to whom. There are people who are linked to others based on their previous season.

(Mike straightens up, Stephan turns to look at Natalie, and Brandon looks agitated)

Jeff: Mike, you played with Phillip. Stephan you were with Taj from the beginning. And Brandon you were with Albert from the beginning and Elyse was there too.

Brandon: I never got to play with Elyse, and Albert betrayed me. I don’t make the same mistake twice.

Mike: Phillip and I were on opposing teams and our tribes were kept separate.

Jeff: Stephan, what about you?

Stephan: I think this tribe could see my past relationship with Taj as an advantage. Taj would easily jump to us and give us the numbers.

Natalie: At the same time, you could easily flop to them

Stephan: I won’t. I’m in a comfortable place here and I would not work with Dreamz, Phillip or Crystal

Natalie: When your back is against the wall…

Stephan: Just as you are doing here

Jeff: Darrah, you played with no one before. Where do you sit with this?

Darrah: I’m voting with the tribe. We made an agreement with how to vote, and I’m sticking with it.

Jeff: And with that, it’s time to vote. Brandon you are up.

(Brandon casts a hidden vote and says: “This is the best move for me and my game. Come getcha some!”)

(remaining people cast votes, all hidden)

Jeff: I will get the votes

(Jeff gets the votes)

Jeff: First vote- Natalie

(Natalie smiles)

Jeff: Second vote- Stephan

(Stephan looks at Mike who has a blank expression)

Jeff: Next vote- Natalie

(Natalie has a journey is over smile)

Jeff: Second person voted out- Natalie. You have to bring me your torch

(Natalie hugs Darrah and pats the guys shoulders)

Jeff: Natalie, the tribe has spoken

Natalie: Good luck guys. I had fun (blows a kiss and leaves)

Jeff: Natalie didn’t go quietly. If this tribe wants to progress, try and close any cans of worms that she has open. Good night.

Natalie closing words: “I played my best this time. I just didn’t have the right people on my tribe. I scrambled a bit too much today, and that may have hurt me. But all’s fair in love and war”

 Next time on Survivor

Phillip takes his game up a few notches, while Taj grows suspicious of him. (Taj: “He may be playing us all. I think he knows exactly what he is doing). And Yve makes a secret alliance with Elyse, while striking a deal with Marcus.( Yve: “I wonder who is in control of the Pongwe tribe now”)

Episode 1: This Vote is big and my hand will be pulling the strings

_________________________________________________________________________

Phillip: So i’m back for another season at last. Last season, I made myself the villain. This season, they will see a whole new me and they won’t know what to expect.

Brandon: Last time i was here to reclaim the Hantz name and I failed in God’s eyes. This time i will be redeeming my own name. I’m not a bad guy and people will see it this time. I’m not playing for Russell, i’m playing for me.

Dreamz: People judge me because of the whole Yau man car and immunity thing. We all make mistakes.

Yve:  I don’t think people really know me. That’s my advantage.

Marcus: I’m back for revenge. I have what it takes to win.
Peih Gee: This is a game about numbers. I’m playing to keep the numbers on my side.
_________________________________________________________________________
[Cut to opening credits]
_________________________________________________________________________
Taj: Just looking around I can see people divided by race. But that means nothing to me, there’s a lot of contenders here. Strong alliances are based on trusting the right people, not on race.

Brenda: there are two young guys on my tribe. They will be wrapped around my fingertips.

Crystal: I’m stuck with Phillip, Dreamz, and Naonka. I’m gonna stay clear of them
_________________________________________________________________________
[Speed boats stop at shore. People get off.]
_________________________________________________________________________

Jeff: So welcome to this all star season of survivor.
(contestants cheer)
as you can see, you have already been divided into tribes based on race. Phillip, as a former federal agent, what’s your take on this?
Phillip: I think its eye opening that the tribes are divided by race. Well we have a thief and a quitter on my tribe. How’s that for the Black people stereotype? There’s some load mouths-Crystal (Rolls eyes). And there are some really smart people here (screen focus to Stephen, Ken and Peih Gee), and some people with all talk and no show (shot of Albert)
Jeff: Peih Gee, what’s your take on this?
Peih Gee: I don’t think the color of your skin really matters now. All of us here are given this second chance, and I for one am grateful to be back.
Jeff: Naonka, in your season, you have been marked as a quitter. Are you shocked to be back?
Naonka: No Jeff i’m not. I played a powerful game and all those people were scared that I would whip their ass in the final tribal council! (Ghetto finger click)
Brenda: Nay, your game sucked. Survivor is no place for quitters.
(ooooo’s from contestants)
Jeff: Brandon, on South Pacific, you created a lot of controversy. You are older now, have you learnt from your previous game?
Brandon: Thanks Sir. Just because I see things as Black and White, it doesn’t mean that everyone else will.
Jeff: Do you think you can win this time?
Brandon: Yes Sir, if it’s God’s will
Jeff: Marcus, how big of a factor is past relationships?
Marcus: It plays a big part. I was back stabbed by three people here. So the trust may not be all there.
Jeff: Stephan, you buy that?
Stephan: Not at all Jeff. When your backs against the wall, you align with whomever you can.
Jeff: Susie, you were quite underestimated last time, and you were a few votes short of winning. Do you think past performance plays a factor here?
Susie: It’s more about past reputation. There are a few former finalists here, but reputation stands out more.
Jeff: Dreamz, no one has a bigger reputation than you here. How do you overcome it?
Dreamz: I’m changed man. Hopefully they all see it.
Jeff: Mike, on the flip side, you have quite a good reputation. You won many duels on Redemption Island and you gave up a visit from your mum so that the people who voted you out can spend time with your loved ones. Could your reputation work against you?
Mike: I don’t think so. Everyone here is a threat, or they wouldn’t be brought back. I think we all on pretty level playing fields.
[Tribes are dismissed to their beaches. They are given a map, flint, machete, a pot, water jugs and a bag of rice]

The Caucasian Tribe:

Brandon (Narrative/insider confession)
“I love the tribe that I’m on. Everyone here is so hard working. I want to be in an alliance with Mike. He played the game with integrity, and I respect him (shot of Mike talking to Stephan)

[shots of the tribe working to build a shelter from Natalie’s eyes, with fun music followed by cold steel like music]

Natalie (Narrative confession)

“I think I got a good tribe, but I am quite wary of everything going on. Brandon seems to have the whole Christian Brother thing going with Mike and he is working hard and he gets on well with Stephan and Darrah. He is a threat to my game.”

[Closing shot of Brandon smiling]

______________________________________________________________________

Hispanic Tribe

Yve: “I am on the hard working tribe and everyone is pulling their weight”

[Shots of tribe working hard with Hero background music]

Yve: “I went out early last time becauseof the tribe swap and I put my own foot in my mouth by talking about the alliances I had with the other tribe. I’m going to try and slide myself into any alliance I see.”

[Closing shot of a snake sliding through the grass]

_________________________________________________________________________

African American Tribe

[Scene opens with a heated discussion, intense music]

Phillip: You better be working hard here at camp to make up for what you did, otherwise you have no business being here.

Naonka: You don’t tell me what to do. You not my father.

[scene fades and cuts to confessions]

Taj: (Imitating Phillip with shots of the heated discussion) “I am a former federal agent; I make my living seeing through people like you”. Gosh, Phillip is such a character (laughs)

Crystal: I don’t wanna get on the wrong side of Phillip.

[scene becomes clearer again]

Dreamz: You don’t talk to her like that.
Naonka: I done nothing to you (waves her finger at Phillip)
Phillip: Young man, you robbed an old Asian man of a car. You give us blacks a bad name. You can learn a lot from me. You two are a bunch of troublemakers.

[scene fades out and cuts to confessions]
Taj: “Phillip maybe a bit bananas, but he has a point. Dreamz and Naonka are trouble”
[Scene ends with unflattering shots of Naonka, Dreamz and Phillip in the argument]

_________________________________________________________________________

Asian Tribe:
(Dialogue between Kenny and Brenda, nature shot of two birds on a tree)
Brenda: So I always thought you were really cute and intelligent
(Kenny smiles shyly, cut to confession)
Kenny (confession): “the hot Asian girl is flirting with me. I like this game”
(Cut back to scene)
Brenda: So do you want to align?
(cut to confession)
Kenny: “Of course I said yes”
(Scene ends)
(Scene with some of the Asian Tribe building stuff, Cao Boi instructing on how to do and lighting a fire in his own way)
Peih Gee (confession): “Cao Boi is a great asset to this tribe. He does talk about stereotypes a lot, but he knows about shelters and starting fires. And I’m playing again with Frosti who is really good at challenges so I think I am in a secure position”
Frosti: “I’m the only physically strong guy on this tribe. Kenny may be good at puzzles but I’m more athletic. I get on well with everyone and with Peih Gee on my side again, I’m not going anywhere soon.

[Scene ends]

Challenge: Immunity and Reward

The challenge is a five leg course that involves Swimming and diving to get a key, shooting   ten coconuts in a high net, a rope climb, a slide puzzle to release the machete, and ends with a fire making challenge. Each tribe member is in charge of a different leg. The First winning tribe receives immunity, a fishing set and they get to send one person from their tribe to the losing tribe and their tribal council as a spy (immune). The second and third runners up receive immunity only. The losing tribe will go to tribal council, where the first person will be voted out in the game.

Naonka is slow on the first leg, but Phillip makes up quick time on the basketball-like coconut throwing leg. Brandon and Peih Gee move up the wall climb fast, with Brandon in the lead. Crystal struggles on the puzzle. Mike gets to work on the fire, followed by Susie and Cao Boi. Susie, like in Gabon, burns the rope first, followed by Cao Boi and Mike. Crystal does not even finish her puzzle so Taj did not get to start on the fire.\The Hispanic tribe selects Susie as their spy.

Susie (confession): “I am glad to get to visit another tribe. My plan is to try and pull in Crystal and Kenny later on to form a Gabon alliance with myself and Marcus. We will be in control of this game after the merge.”

_________________________________________________________________________

African American Tribe (with Susie)

Phillip(narration) back to camp with a guest from the hispanic tribe, and i wanted to call a tribe meeting. Immeadiatly i saw naonka rolling her eyes.”

Phillip: my fellow tribesman, i was disappointed with our overall performance at this challenge. Naonka you were slow. Dreamz, you had no patience. And Christine-

Crystal: My name is Crystal

Phillip: Sorry. Like I was saying- Naonka, you were slow-

Naonka: Who are you to call me slow?

Phillip: As a former Federal Agent, I can tell you that your performance was bad in the challenge. I was embarrassed

[Taj (side confession) (imitating Phillip): “As a former federal agent, you were bad Naonka”. wow, I dealt with coach. Phillip is much more insane. It doesn’t take a former federal agent to see it. Naonka cost us that challenge]

Taj: Nay, I think you didn’t do as well as we hoped in this challenge

Naonka: Why are all you people throwing me under the bus. I don’t do nothing wrong.

Phillip: You are a bad player. I will be voting for you or your side kick tonight. You are selfish. You assualted a handicapped person and stole food .You quit the game the last time. You don’t deserve to be here.

Naonka: Who are you to tell me I don’t deserve to be here!

Dreamz: You don’t talk to her like that. You don’t control us!

Phillip: Young man. You have no respect. You stole a car from a hard working Asian man and you lied. What kind of example are you setting to your children? You don’t deserve to be here either. The two of you are a disgrace to black people. You give us a bad reputation.

(Argument continues)

[Susie (aside confession) (shots of her being part of the meeting, but keeping silent): I’m glad i came here. This tribe is going to self destruct and I have front row seats.]

(Scene with Crystal, Susie and Taj)

[Susie (confession): on the first day of Gabon, Crystal chose me to join her tribe. We made a good team after the merge. She may be my closest ally in this game]

Taj: Getting away from the two trouble makers and their father feels like a holiday, right ladies?

Crystal: Yeah Phillip is crazy and as for those other trouble makers – (breaks a branch in half)

Taj: But we three are strong. We are all mothers here. We can deal with difficult children. I’m so glad Phillip put them in their place. Bless him, but he is nuttier than Coach.

Crystal: Phillip doesn’t like the either. Those two are on the outs- the Nicaragua bully and the Fiji thief. I’m voting with Phillip against them.

[Taj (aside confession): I ‘m considering all my options here. It could be a good move to vote with Naonka and Dreamz. If I take them to the end with me, I would win. But neither of them deserves to be here]

(Black tribe and susie walking to tribal council)

[Taj (background): “last time I made it to the final four. I played too much with my heart after the merge. I had the perfect opportunity to win with the exile alliance, and I let it slip. If I made it to the end, I would have given JT a run for his money. The people who were left in the game were smart. They knew I was a threat. My best move this time would to align to the two that don’t think and don’t worry about Jury votes. This vote is big. My hand will be pulling the strings”]

(shot of them entering tribal council)

_________________________________________________________________________

Tribal Council Summary

Crystal and Naonka are called out for messing up the challenge. Phillip is unsually subdued here with Naonka, Dreamz and Crystal doing all the talking. Phillip and Crystal vote Naonka, and Dreamz and Naonka vote Crystal. Taj is the deciding vote and she votes Naonka. Naonka becomes the first person voted out of Survivor Zanzibar.

Naonka’s closing words

“This time i did not quit. I was kind to everyone, worked hard around camp and I was more strategic than last time. They were all scared of going up against me in the end.”
